Dont be angry ( A sad story )

In the Name of Allah Most Beneficient Most Merciful.
This is a story about a little boy and his dad. This little boy happened to be a very stubborn child whose father did all he could but was unable to change his little boy, he beat him up, and tried all he could but the boy remained very stubborn.
It so happened that the boys father built a new house, beautiful landscaping and a whole lot of flowers to add to the beauty. On a monday the dad went to inspect the house just a few days before he planned to move in unfortunately he went along with his stubborn son. On reaching the house he went ahead discussing with his workers while the boy was busy cutting all the flowers he could lay his hands on.
When the dad realised what the boy had done he quickly grabbed the litlle boy out of anger, tied his hands very firmly and locked him up in a room. The boy cried for some time before he eventually stopped. The dad then opened the door and untied him. But unfortunately the boys hands couldnt go back to normal as there was no flow of blood for a long time.
The dad rushed him to the hospital but the doctors said it was too late and the hands had to be amputated fast to avoid further complications. The dad agreed reluctantly, the operation was succesful. When the poor boy regained his consciousness after the operation he realised his hands were amputated, being in a state of confusion as a little kid, he started crying, telling his dad " daddy please bring back my hands i wont do it again" . Ofcourse it was too late and the dad could only cry and regret his action.
This should be a lesson to all of us, it is only human to get angry but what the hadith of "dont get angry" actually implies is not reacting when angered, by suppressing your anger . Because any decisions made during times of anger mostly end up with regrets.
May Allah increase us in patience.
I hope you all find this helpful. Ma assalam.

Are you really proud to be a Muslim

In the Name of Allah Most Beneficient Most Merciful.
Often times we say we are proud muslims, but the question is what constitutes one to say he or she is proud about anything?
We will all agree that when we talk about being proud muslims it is not pride associated with arrogance, but pride derived from self esteem, sense of essence and a certain fulfillment.
Being proud about anything will mean actually going to any lenght to show your love and sense of pride attached to it. The truth is some of us just talk and dont really justify it. It is sad that some muslims are ashamed to behave like Muslims, we are ashamed of the impression the kuffar will have about us, therefore we join them in mocking our own brothers and sisters who have proudly shown the world they are muslims. I will not be surprised at the kuffar who mocks my dressing and my beard but It is very painful when a fellow Muslim mocks my beard and my trousers. By Allah in whose hands our souls are, if we mock the practice of the Rasul SAW it is as though we have mocked the Rasul SAW himself.
You wanna proclaim i am proud to be a Muslim, dress like a muslim, talk like a muslim and masha Allah behave like a Muslim. And you will be a proud Muslim not only in the eye of the world but in the sight of Allah SWT. May Allah guide us and keep us guided till we take our last breath. Amin. Ma assalam.
